About Us

treemission® has been established, through a partnership between Rotary International District 9450, Carbon Neutral and the National Trust of Australia (WA), to enable members of Rotary International District 9450 and the wider community to reduce their impact on the environment by contributing to tree planting for carbon sequestration and land rehabilitation.

The objectives of the program are to:

• Provide a means for Rotary International District 9450 members and the wider community to support tree planting for carbon sequestration and land rehabilitation, based on the carbon emissions from meetings, events and daily activities.
• Strategically select land for planting to maximise environmental outcomes.
• Promote environmental awareness and responsibility.
• Engage Aboriginal families in land management.
